Support our youth mariachi program this Giving Tuesday! Your donation helps fund instruments, lessons, and cultural arts programs for students.
Our primary program is dedicated to teaching mariachi music to local youth in Woodland and the surrounding region. Students of all ages and experience levels learn musical technique, performance skills, and cultural understanding through structured rehearsals and mentorship.
Mariachi Los Claveles performs at community events, cultural celebrations, and nonprofit gatherings. These performances help preserve and share traditional mariachi music while supporting community engagement.
As students grow in skill, they have the opportunity to perform at local events as part of our student ensemble. This provides real-world experience, builds confidence, and strengthens cultural pride.
We host occasional workshops led by guest musicians, teaching artists, and cultural educators. These sessions expose students to diverse techniques and deepen their appreciation for mariachi and Mexican heritage.
We are actively working to establish scholarship and endowment funds to support student participation, instrument access, and long-term program growth. Support from community donors helps make this possible.
